Cutting Crew

When: June 1987… and on

Where: First in San Francisco, and then in various places in the US

And: My friends and I actually ended up seeing Cutting Crew many times (long story — several of them, actually). They were all very nice, easygoing guys, happy to be touring the US in support of their hit single “(I Just) Died In Your Arms” and its follow-up, “I’ve Been In Love Before.”

I have oodles of photos — here are just a couple of my favorites. (I will post more upon request…) And I’d be remiss without a special call-out here to Tony Moore, who accompanied the band on keyboards — a really smart, sweet, funny and talented guy who has kept busy over the years.

  1. love cutting crew, became friends with kevin shortly before he passed away and have been friends with nick the past year and a half.

do you have anything extra autographed by kevin??

  2. I always loved Cutting Crew. I picked up a CD from Nick Van Eede and his newest group Grinning Souls. I bought it directly from his marketing Company in the UK, and admit that is has the soul of Cutting Crew. To any fan of Cutting Crew, you can “hear that voice”, and know who it is. He autographed it for me, too.
