Where: Greek Theatre, Berkeley
And: The show was a full meal: New Order for dinner and Echo and the Bunnymen for dessert… with Gene Loves Jezebel as an appetizer. I met Bernard at his hotel (just up the street) pre-show, and then was backstage after because we actually knew the tour manager from when he was working with another band. These photos are from after the show, when there were easily about 100 people backstage, with everyone hanging out and chatting — not just an extra-strength autograph session.

P.S. I saw the band again last summer at the Coachella Festival. They still sounded great…
